ARM PAIN
Rest: If your arm is injured or sore, it’s important to rest it as much as possible to allow it to heal.
Ice: Applying ice to the affected area can help to reduce pain and inflammation. Wrap a cold pack or a bag of ice in a towel and place it on the affected area for 15-20 minutes at a time, several times a day.
Compression: You can use a compression bandage or sleeve to help reduce swelling and support the injured area.
Elevation: Keeping the affected arm elevated above the level of your heart can also help to reduce swelling.
Pain relievers: Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen can help to reduce pain and inflammation.
Physical therapy: If the pain is due to a muscle or joint problem, physical therapy can help to strengthen the affected area and improve range of motion.
Surgery: In some cases, surgery may be necessary to repair a damaged or injured arm.
